Η συνεταιριστική κοινότητα αυτάρκειας «Από Κοινού Κοιν.Σ.Επ.» γεννήθηκε στο Ηράκλειο Κρήτης την άνοιξη του 2013. Διάφοροι άνθρωποι με ποικίλα ενδιαφέροντα και ετερόκλητες εμπειρίες που μοιράζονται όμως έναν κοινό σκοπό: μια ζωή πιο δίκαιη, πιο ηθική, με βάση την αειφορία, την επαφή με τη φύση και τις τέχνες και με εμπιστοσύνη στις ανθρώπινες σχέσεις.

The self-sufficient cooperative community ‘APO KOINOU’, meaning ‘Together’, was born in Heraklion, Crete, in the spring of 2013. A variety of people from all walks of life with diverse interests and experiences came together to share a common goal: To live in a way that is more just and ethical, that is based on sustainability, interaction with the environment and with natural arts and crafts, while at the same time developing trust in human relationships

Ο «Από Κοινού Κοιν.Σ.Επ.» έχει τρεις αλληλένδετες γραμμές-δράσεις: την καλλιέργεια και παραγωγή προϊόντων/ υπηρεσιών –μικρής κλίμακας και με φυσικές μεθόδους-, την εκπαίδευση – με εναλλακιτκές μεθόδους, ηθική και αγάπη- και τον πολιτισμό –τη διάδοση τεχνών, παράδοσης και κουλτούρας.

‘APO KOINOU’ has three interrelated parts:
1) Cultivation- the farming of fresh, good quality and nutritious farming products with traditional techniques,
2) Education- schooling that implements alternative teaching techniques that above all are just and based on love,
3) Culture- the spread of traditional arts, crafts and cultural progress

Βαθύτερος και ουσιαστικός σκοπός του «Από Κοινού Κοιν.Σ.Επ.» είναι να τεθούν οι βάσεις για μια αυτάρκη, αλληλέγγυα, ανταλλακτική μικρο-οικονομία που δεν θα αποσκοπεί στην αισχροκέρδεια.

The underlying purpose of the cooperative is to put in place the foundations for an autonomous and harmonious micro-economy that is opposed to profit-making and deception

We believe that it is of utmost importance to gain trust in and knowledge of where our food comes from, so we encourage people to come and visit our farms and talk with us, and, if they want, to become another link in our budding community.
