To Αρχοντικό Αργυρού είναι μια μεγαλόπρεπη έπαυλη με αρχιτεκτονική κομψότητα χτίσμένη το 1860 στο γραφικό χωριό Μεσαριά.
Ενα από τα πιο αξιόλογα νεότερα μνημεία του νησιού που συνδυάζει τη θηραϊκή παραδοσιακή αρχιτεκτονική με στοιχεία νεοκλασικισμού. Αξιόλογης αρχιτεκτονικής , με τοξωτά ταβάνια και ξύλινα ζωγραφιστά πατώματα.
Σώζεται ολόκληρη η επίπλωση και η οικοσκευή του σπιτιού καθώς και οι εξαιρετικές οροφογραφίες του.
Κατά τη διάρκεια του σεισμού το 1956, ένα μέρος του οικοδομήματος υπέστη σοβαρές ζημιές και παρέμεινε έτσι επί τριάντα πέντε έτη.
Το 1986 ο εγγονός του Γεωργίου Αργυρού αποφασίζει να ξεκινήσει εργασίες αναστήλωσης ανακτώντας την παλαιότερη μεγαλοπρέπειά του.
Το 1997 το Αρχοντικό Αργυρού τιμήθηκε με το βραβείο της Europa Nostra ως μνημείο διατήρησης της πολιτιστικής μας κληρονομιάς.

This palatial mansion was the brainchild of George Argyros who was a prosperous landlord and he built this remarkable mansion in the year 1888. Even though a part of the edifice was badly damaged during the 1956 earthquake after which it remained isolated for thirty five years.
At 1986 George Argyros start restoration works and with his pioneering vision, the entire mansion was renovated and restored to its former glory.
In 1997, Argyros Mansion was awarded the Europa Nostra prize as a memorial to preserving the cultural heritage.
