I.M.E.Q. was created to establish a relationship between psychology and the maritime industry. It first begun with a 2 year research on subjects such as emotional intelligence in the maritime industry among different sectors and departments, as well as mental health of seafarers.

The center gathered social psychologists, educational psychologists, and clinical psychologists, in order to gather data and analyse them in favor of providing high quality strategies, techniques and training to the industry.
Throughout the years, shipping has faced many implications regarding lack of: communication, leadership, management, teamwork between departments, and cultural and social discrimination. Such issues were raised by specialists and conducted studies in order to create solutions, and implement them with various projects. The company's vision is to create one force of specialized professionals, and keep on growing this network in favor of the well being and high quality of performance within the maritime industry.

The PROJECTS are to be presented for the first time in The POSIDONIA conference Programme Event on June 9th, 2016 at POSIDONIA EXPO.
