IST – International Software Techniques S.A. is a private company of Greek interests, founded in 1991.

IST specializes in Software Development, IT Consulting and Project Management services.

The company functions both as an ISV (Independent Software Vendor) and as a VAR (Value Added Reseller), constituting what has been lately coined as “boutique software development company”.

IST dedicates itself to delivering highly sophisticated services to a number of high growth and demanding industries, such as telecommunications, banking and pharma.

The company is primarily addressing the needs of large-sized organizations (either private, publicly-traded or multinational).

The main target market of IST is Greece, although in the last few years the company has expanded its international foothold, by entering (either on its own or through local collaborations) the East, Central and Western European markets.

IST has adopted an open-door policy, a balanced matrix organization structure, while it incorporates knowledge-management and ideation-management practices, in order to enhance its Research & Development processes as well as its innovation capabilities.

Moreover, IST is characterized by a friendly, casual culture, which places an emphasis on collaboration, team-building, and knowledge dissemination.

The company is also actively pursuing grants through Greek and European funded research projects.
