Gamma Air Medical was founded in 1997 by aviation doctors and is located in Athens (Maroussi).
Main object ever since has been the air medical transportation and medical escort of patients, via means of air transport, such as air ambulance airplanes and helicopters or even commercial flights.
Over the years we gained valuable experience allowing us to organize patient transfers with means of transport (ie. ground transfer with highly equipped ambulance vehicles). Furthermore, our activities exceed to a range of medical - advisory services, such as courses of Basic Principles of Aviation Medicine and First Aid for flying crew members, Medical First-Aid kits or anything else that affects and toutches the patients transfered.

We provide medical consulting concerning "fit to fly" passengers on commercial flights.

The main objective of the company has always been the safe transportation of people suffering (bedside to bedside) ensuring the best possible evacuations - specialist doctors and nursing staff, properly equipped means of transportation (ground, air or water) and adequate medical supplies.
Our experience in the evacuation area for over 10 years now enables also us to provide medical advice. This advisory medical opinion regarding the ability of people to travel by air or otherwise, the implementation of educational programs for health service units or air carriers are additional activities of our company Gamma Air Medical.
